SAPID HOLDINGS LIMITED fulfils its obligations to the stakeholders of the company with the provision of health, safety and security facilities to ensure a safe work environment. This policy statement is communicated openly at every opportunity to all employees, customers and services contractors.

In line with the terms of this policy statement, Sapid Holdings promises to:

• Reduce all forms of hazards in the work environment, and ensure a healthy, safe and secure environment for its staff, customers, subcontractors and third party assigns.
• Not carry out any activities unless considered safe
• Commits itself to the recording and investigation of all accidents, near-misses and other HSE-related incidents in order to ascertain their causes, eliminate them and forestall future occurrence
• Ensure that sub-contractors comply with the terms of this policy and those of its clients.
• Ensure commitment to the minimization of the impact of its activities on the work environment
• Respond promptly to the needs of its host communities and those of others that may be affected by its activities.

Sapid Holdings philosophy is that, in the performance of any work, the health and welfare of the people involved and the protection of assets and the environment are of primary concern.

The company believe that accidents are caused and therefore can be prevented by people. As such employees at all levels will be held responsible and accountable for preventing job illness and injuries and equipment and environmental accidents through consistent diligent application of the policy which is a major factor in decisions concerning promotions, demotions, layoffs and salary adjustments.

The company trains its staff to be safety conscious at all times. Its personnel are exposed on a continous basis to standard safety procedures, while unsafe acts are discouraged in all work places and safety drills are a vital part of work habits in the company.
